Why is it necessary to cleanse the Colon?

One of the main benefits of colonic irrigation is to remove a build-up of mucus substances and other material that can stick and build-up on the colonic wall and which are full of bad bacteria and toxins. This material is not eliminated with your normal faeces; therefore the toxic waste is poisoning all vital organs in the body deteriorating the body’s immune system.

What Procedure is followed?

A treatment will usually last between 30 to 45 minutes. Filtered temperature controlled water is introduced into the colon via a small speculum. The introduction of warm water into the 1 ½ meter large intestine combined with gentle abdominal massage, will induce peristaltic contractions, and will aid in loosening and dislodging impacted and hard faecal wastes, which are then removed from the body via another tube attached to the speculum. Your colon can then function as it was designed to.

Tips for safe colon cleansing

If you know the risks and are still interested in colon cleansing, there are things you can do to reduce the likelihood that you’ll suffer any ill health effects.

• Talk to your doctor first. Some people may be at a greater risk for complications.
• Drink plenty of fluids. Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration both before and after your cleanse.
• Choose your therapist wisely. There are no licensing requirements for colonic hygienists, but some belong to professional organizations that require some training in first aid and CPR. Talk to other people who have used specific therapists before you go through with your appointment.
• Ensure only new, disposable equipment and protective gear is used. Make sure your hygienist has a proper disinfection routine and uses disposable equipment whenever possible. Colon cleansing equipment can transmit bacteria if not properly sterilized.

The Facility

The colon cleansing facility uses a world class digitally controlled device connected to a water purification system to assure you of an absolutely pure cleansing with on-hands control of the water pressure and temperature and volume.

The dignity and modesty of the client is maintained at all times. Each client receives new sterilized equipment, which is discarded immediately after that treatment, therefore maintaining complete hygiene and cleanliness. Water enters the colon by means of a digitally controlled device which is extremely gentle; therefore integrity of the colon cannot be compromised in any way.

Prepare For Your Session To Maximize Results

1. Be sure that you are well hydrated. An easy way to figure out how much is enough is to take your body weight and divide it by 8 … This will give you the number of glasses of water that you need to drink each day.

2. Fiber supplementation is recommended. 20 – 35 grams per day. This will help break up some of the build-up and make your session more productive.

3. Lubricate the colon further by taking essential fats and oils, such as flax, coconut and olive oil.

Frequency Of Treatments

An initial series of three to six treatments is recommended. Years of improper nutrition cannot possibly be reversed with one or two treatments.
More treatments may be required in cases of chronic constipation or atonic (sluggish) colon conditions. Following the initial cleansing program, it is advisable to have a series of at least three treatments every three to six months to maintain optimal colon health.
